Let’s help you launch your career with Tugboat Logic! We are looking for a new crew member to join our Product Team in Canada as a Product Manager.



The Product Manager oversees new product features and improvements from conception to launch, along with each new iteration from the strategy phase through go-to-market. To be effective in this role, the Product Manager must be acutely aware of the buyer and ensures the product addresses their main pain points. The Product Manager is responsible for carrying forward the vision and strategy of the product, as well as for fully understanding the needs of our customers and target market, aligning our product vision and strategy accordingly. The Product Manager drives the roadmap vision for the assigned product stream and works with the customer base to understand how the product needs to evolve to meet changing needs.



  • Manage the process of bringing new product features and improvements to the market
  • Talk to customers and understand their pain points and review feedback, prioritizing into product requirements that benefit the most customers possible
  • Support product development from inception to launch, defining business requirements, feature development and roadmap
  • Prioritize what features can be built and reasonably be included in the roadmap
  • Provide guidance to existing customers on product roadmap
  • Create and manage the product backlog
  • Analyze usage date to discover strengths and weaknesses of the product
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for new features
  • Write feature briefs, user stories and log bugs
  • Participate in establishing Product Best Practices and Delivery Processes
  • Manage and communicate product vision and roadmap across multiple departments including Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Client Success.



  • 3-5+ years product management experience
  • Prior experience building SaaS or enterprise products
  • Experience working on core or platform product features such as notifications, roles and permissions, approval workflows, task assignment, etc.
  • Strong experience building enterprise admin consoles, and an affinity and ability to create user experiences customers love
  • Start-up experience, and know how to find product market fit.
  • Driven and highly accountable
  • Work well and enjoy collaborating in a team
