Purpose

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We believe that there is strength in diversity, and our workforce should represent all individuals and groups in society. Alongside 22 other companies, Tugboat Logic received The Startup Weekly’s 2021 Diverse and Inclusive Employer Award for our work in diversity, equity and inclusion. With our diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) policy, we establish recruitment standards, promote awareness of diversity issues, create a workplace that fosters dignity and respect, and launch HR initiatives that highlight opportunities for engagement.

Best Practices

The DE&I Framework

The Labs team at Tugboat Logic has developed a DE&I framework to implement best practices around DE&I. This framework aims to support individuality, address systemic inequalities and create a culture that values respect, acceptance and equal access to opportunities. 

The five pillars of the framework, including requirements for each pillar are:

Actions speak louder than words. That’s why Tugboat Logic employees can take two days paid per year to give back to their local communities through volunteer work of their choice. We seek to provide direct support where we live, work and play, while also enriching our employees’ personal lives by encouraging them to pursue causes aligned with their beliefs.
