We are looking for someone who loves to write content. Long form. Short form. In-between form. At Tugboat Logic, one of our missions is to educate people on best practices for security, and so we like to product a lot of materials to help them along their journey. Ebooks, blogs, webinars, videos and more. We are always looking for new topics and new ways to reach our target customer. If you like to write (a lot), know how to simplify the complex, and enjoy the world of cybersecurity, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
Know your buyer. Know their pain points. So you can write content that is meaningful to them. Continue to refine and manage the core messaging of the company. Write. Write. And write some more. Content is the ammo for our demand generation engine. So we need a lot of this ammo! Work with Demand Generation team to help provide content for marketing programs. Work with Sales team to understand the sales enablement content they need. Work with Product team to understand the features and benefits of the product. Maintain content on our corporate website. Build sales enablement tools such as customer overview decks, demo videos, and training materials on new releases. Help with What's New announcements for new releases in the product. YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT IF: You have 3-5+ years product marketing/ content marketing experience. You truly enjoy writing, and can produce quality content at a high velocity. You are intellectually curious, and like to become an expert about your market. You are creative, and enjoy finding new content formats to reach your buyer in unique ways that grab their attention. You have experience writing content required for B2B SaaS companies (e.g. white papers, eBooks, slide decks, websites). You have domain expertise in DevOps or Security. You have startup experience, and know how to work independently. You are driven and highly accountable. You work well in teams. Bachelors degree is required.
